I do wonder sometimes where our dreams come from. There are some dreams that are an obvious working out of our daily stresses, and others that are just plain random. The following dream is hands down the strangest dream I have ever had.
The dream began with my husband kneeling very close the ground talking very gently to this teeny tiny (noodle, or tortilla. Some white food.) cut in the shape of a cross, with a cartoon-type animated face in the top portion, with a large round mouth and long eye-lashes, and the arms of the cross being her arms, and she was not responding to my husband as he spoke to her.
She was in some type of crisis and he was trying to console her, but she would have none of it. She would not even look at him. Then I approached the scene and knelt down with them and I began to pray for her in tongues. And as I prayed for her she looked at me and she began excitedly talking back to me in Punjabi. She was Indian and she understood all I said to her in tongues, and I understood all she said to me. I spontaneously rose to go retrieve a belt.
While I was gone Jeff wrapped the Punjabi-speaking noodle girl in a tortilla, with her little eyes and mouth sticking out the top, and the rest covered in cheese and lettuce. When I arrived back he was about to place her in a frying pan of hot oil. I began screaming that he had to stop, he was going to hurt her! But he continued on until she was fully submerged in the oil. Then when he drew her from the hot oil she was smiling, as though she had gone for a summer's day swim, and said to me that she loved it.
It was perfect for her -
Then I woke up.
Any takers on this one?
When I told my husband we laughed and laughed. I have no idea what it could all possibly mean.
